What a nice weekend!

On Saturday, I went out for a 3 hour ride, then had sushi with Yolanda and Nathan. On Sunday, went surfing then hit up Commerce with Nathan. Interspersed in all of that was plenty of WoW.

Sushi at HUMP was exquisite, obscene, and opulant. Chef Susumu cooked up some majorly yummy and interesting dishes. We didn't have ANY rice whatsoever. We had:

- salmon roe served up in a small martini glass as the opener
- monkfish liver with japanese cucumber, ginger, and tomato
- sweet shrimp chopped up with truffles and topped with caviar and gold flakes
- a huge oyster
- conch soup
- thinly sliced octupus, halibut, red snapper
- roasted black cod
- crab cakes
- brownie with raspberries and mochi

It was an expensive weekend, but made a lot less painful with NFLX and JCOM reporting excellent earnings after hours tonight.
